Jared Gray boasts a diverse range of experiences and contributions to Eagle Mountain. During his formative years, Jared gained valuable skills as a farm hand at Cedar Valley Farms prior to the establishment of Eagle Mountain City. Witnessing the initial construction of residential properties, he has remained an active member of the community throughout his lifetime. Following a two-year LDS mission in Chicago, Jared married his wife Heidi, and together they have lovingly raised four children. The oldest, Kaitlin (23), is happily married and resides with her husband in Lehi. Cameron (21) recently returned from a two-year mission in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kortney (19) is currently studying as a sophomore at Utah Tech University in St. George, and Kelsey (17) is a student at Cedar Valley High School!
In 2000, Jared and Heidi embarked on an entrepreneurial journey, founding their own construction trucking and excavation company. They also garnered experience in the realm of real estate, selling for developments near Eagle Mountain City as well as helping friends and family members buy their first homes in the area.
Jared's involvement in the city extends to various boards within Eagle Mountain; including the Cemetery Board, Parks and Recreation Board, Youth Council, Planning Commission, and the esteemed Pony Express Events Committee, where he currently serves as President. Within this capacity, Jared effectively coordinates high-profile events such as the annual PRCA Rodeo, the Demolition Derby, and the EnduroCross.
Demonstrating unwavering commitment to his community, Jared has spearheaded initiatives to enhance public safety, resulting in the successful addition of new city police officers for two consecutive years. Moreover, he has been a strong advocate for securing funding to widen Pony Express Parkway, Eagle Mountain Boulevard, and the initiation of the Old Airport Road to SR-73. Through his vast experiences and steadfast leadership, Jared Gray epitomizes the ideal candidate for re-election to the Eagle Mountain City Council.
